Ludlow Green Festival, the county’s largest event that brings environmental issues to the forefront through interactive and entertaining ways, is back on Sunday July 11th in Castle Square.
2021 marks the 24th anniversary of the Ludlow Green Festival, after it was cancelled last year due to Covid. Local environmental group Ludlow 21, who organise the Green Festival every year, promise another fun packed festival with engaging stalls, talks, music, and eco-friendly food and drink.
This year’s theme for the festival will be ‘Build Back Greener’ which will touch upon the need for people, communities, businesses, councils and governments all to alter their approach to reducing carbon emissions, building resilience and instigating change to mitigate climate emergency.
The Ludlow Fairtrade Town Group will be selling a range of ethical and fair trade crafts, many using recycled and sustainable materials. We’ll also have some Fairtrade cupboard staples and delicious Divine Chocolate to samples.
Bring the kids along to create Fairtrade headwear and play our eco-friendly ‘I Spy’!
We’d love to see you to do pop along and say “hello”.
The Festival is free to visit and will be open from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 11th July. For more information please contact Ian Urry on firstname.lastname@example.org.
