The Fairtrade Town Group is an integral part of Ludlow 21, a local voluntary group established in 1998 to promote sustainable living in the Ludlow area within a fair and just global society.
Ludlow 21 is an independent body with no political or council ties, and is the principal independent voice for local sustainability. Ludlow 21 consists of Ludlow Sustainable Transport Group, Incredible Edible Ludlow, Ludlow Food Network, Ludlow 21 Energy Group, Action on Plastics, Ludlow Swift Group and Ludlow Fairtrade Town Group.
Ludlow 21’s flagship event is the annual Green Festival. Held on the square in Ludlow town centre, it provides a showcase for all that is happening on the environmental sustainability agenda. It is a day of stalls, events, music and fun for all the family.
